He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tolbert and Ruth Tolbert (Riley); his wife Mary "Jane" (Mandrell); and his siblings, Charles Tolbert (Pat), James Tolbert, William Jordan, Geraldine Davis (Everett), Wanda Stone and Myrtle Walker.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Tolbert (Cathy), Daryl Tolbert (Kathy) and Steve Tolbert (Joan); his grandchildren, Shanna O'Bright, Tasha Tolbert, Jaime Tolbert (Dee Sanders), Chad Tolbert (Kelli), Keith Karcher, Jared Tolbert and Rhea Korte; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Webb, Bill Mandrell and Dick Mandrell. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; many nieces and nephews.
