With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy E. Parks of Johnston City, Illinois, who passed away on September 11, 2020 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy E. Parks to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Scott and Anna Mae Ray (Beers); her husband John D. Parks; her siblings, Deloras J. Smith and Jackie Lee Ray; and her parents-in-law, Gene, Inez Parks, Stanley Parks, Mary Alice and Arlie King, Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Jeffrey D. Parks (Sherrie) of Herrin and Stuart L. Parks (Holli) of Herrin; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Parks of St. Louis, Scott Parks (Kannika) of Ann Arbor, MI., Marris Parks of Johnston City and Maclane Parks of Herrin; her brother Ron Ray (Laura); and her sister-in-law Peggy Parks of Waco, TX.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to the Dillingham Cemetery.
