It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carl Lindell Anderson of Johnston City, Illinois, born in Marion, Illinois, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl "Preach" Anderson and Sylvia Anderson (Harris); and his sister Peggy Trout. He is survived by: his wife Merilee Anderson of Johnston City; his children, Phil Anderson (Karen) of Johnston City and Tricia Seely (Mark) of Union, Missouri; his grandchildren, Brett Anderson (Lauren) of Marion, Grant Anderson (Savannah) of Johnston City, Taylor and Matthew Seely of Union, Missouri; his great grandchild Ava Jo Anderson of Marion; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Trout of Johnston City, Tom Saxe (Susan) of Thompsonville, Larry Saxe (Sharon) of Morrisonville and Elaine Hayden (Norman) of Cape Girardeau, MO.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
