With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie Lee Davis of Johnston City, Illinois, born in Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on October 12, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fagan and Julie Linville; her husband Ralph Davis; her children, Alice Hensley (Larry) and Michael Davis; her son-in-law Bob Williams; and her close friend Mary Ann Romans.
She is survived by: her children, Conley Campbell (Rita) of Chicago, Leona Jurincie of Munster, IN., Julie Williams of Pittsburg, Elizabeth Pugh (James) of Johnston City, Margaret Flatt (Terry), Louis Davis (Glenda) of West Frankfort, Ralph Davis (Marybeth) of Johnston City and Leo Davis (Myranda) of Herrin; and her grandchildren, Dawn, Chrissy, Katie, Jennifer, Julie, Bobby Jr., Charlie, Angela, Joseph, Terrance, Adrian, Melissa, Jonathan, Benjamin, Kaitlin, Jessie and Nya. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
