With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bennie Dare of Johnston City, Illinois, born in Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Dare and Bessie Dare (Vick); and his brother-in-law Louie Caron. He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Caron, Virginia Howerton (Bob) and Brenda Litton (Ron); his niece Cindy Catt; his close friends, Rob Lawrence, Paul Reed and John Roth; and his nephew Chad Howerton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made in Ben's name to the Johnston City First Responders and will be available at the cemetery and the funeral home.
