She was predeceased by: her son Thomas Yocum; her grandsons, Alton Jones and Emery F. Adam; her brother Jeff "Jake" Whalen; and her father-in-law Don Yocum.
She is survived by: her daughter Marcella Whalen (Fear); her husband Chris Yocum; her mother Marcella Whalen of Newton, Illinois; her sister Joyce Correll (Fred) of Dundas, Illinois; her daughter Jenni Adam (Jedidiah) of Jewett, Illinois; her grandchildren, Colten, Indee and Everett; her daughter Kara Yocum of Toledo, Illinois; her grandchild Lynn Clough; and her mother-in-law Pauline Yocum of Jewett. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews.
In loving memory of Janet, memorials may be made to the Mullen Baptist Church.
