It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Bruner of Jewett, Illinois, born in Oblong, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Bruner and Ruth Bruner (Sanders); and his siblings, Robert Bruner, Jerry Bruner, Larry Bruner, Leland Bruner, Danny Bruner, Roberta Bruner, Wanda Kibler and Barbara Stifle.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jo Bauguss of Jewett; his daughter Misty Ervin (Jim) of Toledo; his grandchildren, Aja Bauguss (Alisa Clark) of Jewett, Anika Ervin (Alex McGinnis) of Toledo, Jakota of Toledo and Jasper Ervin of Toledo; his sisters, Pat Andrews (Larry) of Willow Hill and Carol Shook of Oblong; his siblings-in-law, Billie Chambers (Wes) of Toledo, Mike Bauguss (Sue) of Greenup and Tom Bauguss (DeeAnn) of Greenup; his niece Chasity Dunaway (Brian); and his great-niece Liberty Dunaway.
