He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Blair and Beulah Blair (Shadwell) of Shumway; his mother-in-law Helen Boerngen; his siblings-in-law, Penny Boerngen and Doug Boerngen; and his grandson Cody Blair.
He is survived by: his wife Tonya Blair of Jewett; his children, Travis Blair (Gena) of Altamont, April Higgs (Corey) of Mason, Corey Blair (Mikayla) of Toledo and Ashley Blair (Tony Button) of Effingham; his granddaughter Alexandra Roley (Nick) of Beecher City; his children, Dustin of Mason, Dawson (Hayley) of Mason, Dalton of Mason, Delainee of Mason, Dayton Higgs of Mason, JJ of Toledo, Cooper of Toledo and Gwenny Gipp of Toledo; his great grandchildren, Gunner, Gatlin, Dusty Mae, Liza Jane and Canyon Higgs; his father-in-law James Boerngen; his sister-in-law Tamara Root (John); his nieces, Kelsey Koester (Tyler) and Madison Jones (Paul); and his cousins, Cindy Norton and Christy Shadwell.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Jewett Community Church (806 Adams St, Jewett, IL 62436). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 24th 2024 at the Arborcrest Memorial Park.
