She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Powers and Dorothy Powers (Angel); her sister Linda; her brother-in-law Ronald Brainerd; her niece Joy Brainerd; and her nephew Chip Brainerd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darla (Randy Drainer) of Grafton and Jane (Stuart "Jim" Renken) of Jerseyville; her grandchildren, Laura, Natalie, Nicole, Parker and Paige; and her niece Rhonda Davidson (Rick) of Delhi. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home (1308 IL-109, Jerseyville, IL 62052). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery (801 E Spruce St, Jerseyville, IL 62052). Out of respect for everyone's safety, the family requests that all those in attendance wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hamilton Primary School or to her family.
