It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Elizabeth Hazelwonder of Jerseyville, Illinois, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman C. Beiermann and Rita Beiermann Sr. (Heitzig); her husband Charles Anthony Hazelwonder; her grandchildren, Kelby Scott Farmer and Haley Faye Hazelwonder; her son-in-law Joseph Maltimore; and her brother Roman C. Beiermann Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Maltimore of Jerseyville, Tina McEvers Jr. (Burl) of Jerseyville, Todd Hazelwonder (Gail), Kelly Baker (Tim) of Kirkwood and Eric Hazelwonder of Jerseyville; her grandchildren, Rochelle, Raeann Maltimore, Brittany Autery, Bethann Pate (Jon), Breanna Autrey, Alexis Hazelwonder, Lydia Hazelwonder, Cody Witt (Heather) and Hannah Bishop; her great grandchildren, Krew, Elihas, Stark, Vivian, Aylah, Braydon, Chrstian and Bennett; her siblings, Ruth Ann Oversmith of Dunwoody, Rosemary Beiermann of Jersyville, Carol Gray (Larry) of Jerseyville, Joan Hileman (Ed) of Jerseyville, Brenda Stamper (Joe) of Jerseyville, Rhonda Trask of Jerseyville, Annette Hoekstra (Kenny) of Jerseyville, Rebecca Myers of Jerseyville, Gary Beiermann (Kathy) of Jerseyville and Kent Beiermann (Turese) of Jerseyville; and her sister-in-law Kate Beiermann of Jeresyville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
The family also extends the invitation for all to join them following at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jerseyville on Friday at 4 p.m.
For those desiring, memorials may be given to St. Francis/Holy Ghost Catholic School or to Masses.
