The memory of Sharon Helen Drescher (Jerseyville, Illinois), born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 16, 2025 at the age of 76, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gniech and Daisy'Mewhorter'Gniech; her brother Richard Gniech; and her granddaughter Nora Drescher. She is survived by: her husband C. Daniel Drescher of Chautauqua, Illinois; her children, Daniel Drescher (Cathy) of St. Charles, Jennifer Talbott (Derek) of Broomfield and Mark Drescher (Dara) of Tulsa; her sisters, Marie Gniech of Las Vegas and Angie'Gniech'Felske of Las Vegas; and her grandchildren, Michael, Madelynne Drescher, Rebecca, Nicholas Hopwood and Noah Drescher. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
A procession will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the Cemetery Will Depart. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church - Jerseyville (400 S State St, Jerseyville, IL 62052). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location.
