We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2023, at the age of 94, Ruth M. Adcock of Jerseyville, Illinois, born in Roodhouse, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Bushnell and Ida Lemon Bushnell (Fearneyhough); her husband Lawrence Adcock; her children-in-law, Randall Riggs and Rebecca Adcock; her great grandchild Kearstin Adcock; her siblings, Audrey Ontis and Curtis Bushnell; her half-siblings, Pauline Lemon, Virginia Whitlock, Lucille King, Murl and Earl Bushnell; and her nieces, Darlene Harding (King) and Lois Andrews (Whitlock).
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Adcock (Thea) of Eldred and Marilyn Cordes (Richard) of Carrollton; her grandchildren, John Adcock (Cindy), Jackie Adcock (Pat Young), Terry Cordes (Michelle) and Susan Wray (Scott); her great grandchildren, Andrew Adcock, Dagan, Evan Cordes, Cole and Emily Wray; her sister Doris DeShasier (William); and her niece Earlene Ontis.
Memorials may be made to the Veterans Freedom Walk project.
