He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Baze and Clara Baze (Dunnigan); his significant other Deborah Jean Simms; and his siblings, Sally, Grace, Shirley, Gerald, Everett, Gene and Billy.
He is survived by: his daughter Pam (Jerry Heyen); his grandchildren, Joshua Heyen (Sheila) of Columbia, Jacob Heyen (Christina) of Columbia, Ryan Breden (Jamie) of Vandalia, Jessica Goodman (Ryan) of Warrenton and Tony Baze (Katie) of Jerseyville; his great grandchildren, Lilly, Layla Breden, Emma and Kyzer Heyen; his brother Hal; and his half-brother Tom.
Memorials may be given to Disabled American Veterans, in care of the funeral home.
