It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Clyde Slaten of Jerseyville, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Slaten and Sophia Slaten (Reuss); and his siblings, Leland "Pete" Slaten, Doris DeMaestri, Shirley McEvoy, Ruth Slaten, Betty Smith and Norma Goheen.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Gray; his children, Christina Slaten of Jerseyville and Robert Craig Slaten (Micah) of Jerseyville; his grandchildren, Tyler and Summer Slaten; and his great grandchildren, Aria and Alaina.
Memorials may be given to PACS1 Research Foundation, a rare neurological disorder.
