He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scoggins and Thelma Scoggins (Allen); his wife Geraldine Kaye Heitzman; his granddaughter Kelsie Hope Scoggins; and his siblings, Donald, Rollin Scoggins, Marjorie Crouse, Lora Mae Kallal and Norma Jean Scoggins.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Scoggins of Jerseyville, Jeffrey (Sherry Scoggins) and Paul "PJ" (Deidra Scoggins); his grandchildren, Ashley Scoggins, Jeffrey Scoggins Jr., Bradly Scoggins, Jonthon Shaw and Josie Scoggins; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Kira, Melody, Amelia Eberlin, Eli Vowels, Allistar Masters, Brice, Alexander Scoggins, Hazel Reynolds and Adrian Shaw. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, in honor of his granddaughter, Kelsie, in care of the funeral home.
