With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Bray of Jerseyville, Illinois, who passed away on November 23, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Edna Mary Bray (Edwards); his son Patrick John Bray; and his siblings, John Bray, James Bray, Edna Mary Cook, Lois Bray, Helen Seago, Kathryn Bleicher, Doris Shaw, Jeannie Miller and Margaret "Margie" McIntyre.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Bray of Jerseyville; his children, Karen (Dean Davenport), Linda (Kevin Heitzig), Sandra (Jim Lyles), Joy Bray (Mark Graham) of Jerseyville, Michael Bray of Denver, Joanie (Shaun Buchaniec) and Robert (Vicky Bray); his grandchildren, Raechel (Brian Harrison), Matthew (Kimberly Molloy), Jacob Noll, Robby (Natasha Noll), Kaeta (Jacob Cronin), Kristen (Luke Weld), Jarod Georgevits, Sara (Joey Baldwin), Zach Georgevits, Cody Skinner, Kayla Bray, Kelli (Patrick Kirbach), Keith Bray, Sean Bray, Mark Bray, Jack Buchaniec, Patrick Buchaniec, Eleanor Buchaniec and John Bray (Libby Bray); and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Braylee, Ava Molloy, Drake Harrison, Kyra Georgevits, Jocelyn Wyatt, Emma, Madeline Cronin, Alexis, Alayna, Aylse Williams, Braysen Hackworth, Abi Bray, Kingston Skinner, Lane Weld and Emily Kirbach. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Francis/Holy Ghost Catholic School in Jerseyville.
