He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Liles and Hazel Liles (Weller); his spouse Salvatrice Guastella; his daughter Chris Bailey; his grandson Thomas Green; his great grandchild Kynzie Willis; and his siblings, Jacqueline Liles and Roger Liles.
He is survived by: his children, Peter Liles of Joliet and Carol; and his son-in-law Steve Short of Carrollton. He is also survived by six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Jerseyville American Legion Post #492 Honor Guard, in care of the funeral home.
