She was predeceased by: her parents, August Astroth and Mary Astroth (Jaros); her husband Carl Felix Saale of Mary's Catholic Church; her sons, Stephen G. Saale and William Saale; her siblings, Lavere "Liz" Astroth, Joe Astroth, Margaret Schulz, Robert Astroth and Richard Astroth; and her grandson Grant Saale.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Mourlam (Jeffrey) of Roeland Park, KS., Dr. Mary Saale (William Croxton) of St. Louis, MO., Dr. Thomas Saale (Cheryl) of Franklin, TN, Dr. Daniel Saale of Dublin, OH and Ronald Saale (Karen) of Godfrey, IL.; and her daughter-in-law Jane Saale of Brighton, IL..
