We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2023, at the age of 104, Neal Gipson MD of Jerseyville, Illinois, born in Caldwell, Idaho passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Varney and Florence Gipson (Greer); his daughter Janice Nicholson; and his siblings, Priscilla Gipson, Dr. Tracy Gipson and John "Jack" Gipson.
He is survived by: his former wife Margaret Florence Overdorf; his children, Glenn Gipson of Magnolia, Joan Mavima of Hemet, Claudia Gipson of Douglassville and Eric Gipson (Shari) of St. Louis; his wife Patricia Sue Crotchett (Ballard); his children, Amy Turman (Scott) of Jerseyville and Michael Crotchett (Stacey) of Dow; and his grandchildren, Jillian Gipson, Garrett Gipson, Garikai Mavima, Florence Mavima, Erin Sieber, Timothy Sieber, Colleen Sieber, Dustin Pendergraft, April Pendergraft, Derek Gipson, Dale Miles, CJ Miles, Shelby Miles, Richard Crotchett, Ashely Crotchett, Blake Crotchett and Gage Crotchett. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Jerseyville Public Library or Rainbow Acres in Camp Verde, Arizona.
