With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael David Stahl of Jerseyville, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Kenneth "Gene", Viola Baze, August and Anna Stahl; his aunts, Linda Lambert and Doris "Jeanie"; his uncle Francis "Sonny" Surratt; and his cousin Vicki Surratt.
He is survived by: his parents, William Stahl and Carol Stahl (Baze) of Jerseyville; his children, Whitney Stahl, Michael Stahl Jr., Litchfield and Victoria Stahl of Jerseyville; his siblings, Misty Johnson (Anna Cummings) of Jerseyville and Garret Stahl of Jerseyville; his siblings-in-law, Tashena, Michael Kuhlman of Jerseyville, Denisha and Daniel Kochanski of Bethalto; his nephews, Audie Hayes (Scott) of Alton and Josiah Stahl of Jerseyville; and his great-nephew Deion Kochanski.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home (1308 IL-109, Jerseyville, IL 62052). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to his family in care of the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
