It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mavis Hunt of Jerseyville, Illinois, who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight E. Cantrell and Leola Cantrell (Dougherty); her husband Charles Douglas Hunt; her daughter Cheryl Meyer (Hunt); and her brother Dwight E. Cantrell.
She is survived by: her son Douglas Hunt; her children-in-law, Blake, Joan Hunt of Jerseyville and Brett (Chris Meyer) of Bunker Hill; her grandchildren, Brandon (Jamie Hunt), Joseph (Tara Meyer), Jeremy (Sara Hunt), Sarah (Eric Hagen), Jonathan (Tommi Hunt) and Tyler Hunt of St. Louis, Missouri; and also Pam Bauer of Brighton. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Hamilton Primary School in Otterville.
