She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry and Pauline Prill (Powell). She is survived by: her husband Richard Anthony Woelfel; her daughter Christine; her son-in-law John Bane of Snyder, Texas; her son Mark Woelfel of Jerseyville; her grandchildren, Callie Hildebrand (Kevin) of Katy, Texas, Andrew Bane (Kasaundra) of Snyder and Brett Woelfel of Jerseyville; and her great grandchildren, Kale and Sonny Bane.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (306 N Washington St, Jerseyville, IL 62052). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Francis/Holy Ghost Catholic School, in support of the faith and education that were so important to Marie throughout her life.
