He is survived by: his parents, Philip Ewen and Beatrice Vetter Ewen; his wife Shirley Ewen; his children, Lori McKinnon (Jeff) of Hardin, Rebecca (Tom), Kim Skinker (Rich) of Blue Springs, Sue (Jon), Brian Klaas (Amanda) of Jerseyville and Connie Klaas of St. Charles, MO; his grandchildren, Heather (Bert), Hannah McKinnon, Emma Plasmeier, Drew Plasmeier, Conner, Thomas, Justin, Callie, Al Hillen and Ashton Klaas; his great grandchildren, Nash Challans and Claire Challans; his siblings, Lloyd Ewen and Rosie Keeton (Jim); and his brother-in-law Arthur Bailey.
