He is survived by: his children, Cathy Prough (Larry) of Carrollton and Dennis Cory of Wood River; his grandchildren, Michelle Cox (Jim), Carrie Hill (Brian), Michael Cory and Brandon Cory (Renae); and his brother Thomas Shafer (Henrietta) of Carrollton.
