She was predeceased by: her parents, Burris "Bert" and Ethel Daisy Hays (Moody); her husband William Albert Brown; her son Brett Brown; her siblings, Robert Hays, Colleen Whalen and Judith Brinkman; and her nephew Christopher Brinkman.
She is survived by: her adoptive son Robert (Sharon Brown) of Ohio; and her nephew Jeff Brinkman (Karen) of Jerseyville.
