He was predeceased by: his father Forest Eugene Dilks; and his stepfather Evans "Ebb" Hughes. He is survived by: his mother Marjorie Hughes (Green) of Kane; his wife Kathy Dilks of Jerseyville; his sons, Michael and Cheyenne Atchison of Jerseyville; his daughter-in-law Jordon Dilks; his sister Vickie; his brother-in-law Howard Patterson of Manchester; and his nieces and nephews, Holly, Ellie, Evan, Heather, Logan, Toby and Will.
