He was predeceased by: his parents, Dellon William and Mildred Irene Fritz (Gowin); his parents-in-law, Harold and Lou Ellen Landon; his sister Nancy Jackson; and his brothers-in-law, Jerome "Jerry" Essington, Roger Landon and Jay M. Essington.
He is survived by: his former wives, Pauline Powers and Elizabeth Kanallakan (Landon); his family, Gerald and Liz; his wife Liz Fritz of Jerseyville; his children, Kari (Kit Crawford), Goldie (Josh Roberts), Delsie (Andrew Eads), John (Amy Kanallakan) and Andy (Nikki Kanallakan); his grandchildren, Brittany, Landon, Drake, Jacob, Riley, Dax, Eli, Maura, Gavin, Colby, Griffin, Jaren, Brogan, Ian, Lydia, Lincoln, Greyson, Jaxson and Carter; his great grandchildren, Ayden, Autumn, Augustus and Siddalee; his sister Jennifer; and his brothers-in-law, David Prosser of Alton and Bill Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given the First United Methodist Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
