We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2022, at the age of 103, Edna Fay Smith in Jerseyville, Illinois, born in Kane, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Edward and Lelia B. Platto (Crane); her husband Dean Eldon Smith; her children-in-law, James Little Sr. and Elaine Tyson Smith; and her siblings, Eva Rasche, Dolores "Dee" Carr, Phillip Plato, William Plato and Walter Platto.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Dean; her daughter-in-law Charlotte Smith of Huntsville, Alabama; her daughter Nancy Jo Little of Munster, Indiana; her siblings, Barbara Johnson of Medora and Paul; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Platto of Kane and Catherine Platto of Georgia. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be given to Bethel Baptist Church.
