She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Shelton and Dorothy Reining (Davis); her stepfather Clifford Reining; her children, Joseph "Joey" Hayn and Kathy Hayn; her grandchildren, Chad Coats and Courtney Coats; her siblings, Dora Mae Baird, Joe and Robert Shelton; and her half-brother Gary Shelton.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur John "Art" Isringhausen; her sons, Cliff Coats of Jerseyville, Keith "Pete" Coats of Kampsville, Claude Coats of Princeville and Mark; her daughter-in-law Lisa Hayn of Fieldon; her grandchildren, Kristopher Coats (Catherine), April Winters (Travis), Andrew Coats (Heidi), Adam Coats (Nicole), Stephen Hayn (Britney), Kristin Jean Baalman (Luke Tepen), Miranda Rice (Will), Kyle Starks (Ashley), Rachelle Hillen (Luke), Morgan Coats, Penny Coats, Kim Luong (Vy), Victoria Coats, Kate Coats, Adeline Coats, Wren Coats, Lilly Coats, Summer Coats, Shelby Coats, Callie Coats and Gracie Coats; and her friends, Lawrence and Amanda Tully. She is also survived by twenty one great grandchildren; a half sister.
For those desiring, memorials may be given the Oasis Women's Center in Alton, in honor of Jean's granddaughter, Courtney, and all women who are victims of domestic violence.
