With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deloma M Canterbury of Jerseyville, Illinois, born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Austin and Bessie Stephens (Williamson); her husband Aubrey Eugene Canterbury Sr.; her son Aubrey Eugene Canterbury Jr.; her grandson Jake Franklin; and her siblings, Otis Edwards, Curtis Sumner and Freda Blagg.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela (Carlos Oakes), Darla Pettit of Jerseyville, Terry (William McLean), Daniel (Staci Canterbury), Georgia Houston of Hot Springs and Penny Buchanan; and her brothers, James Harrison Stephens of Sorento, Bobby Stephens of Missouri and Calvin Stephens of Missouri. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
