He was predeceased by: his father Donald Vanausdoll; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Doris Hunter; his niece Kara Vanausdoll; and his nephews, Ryan Vanausdoll, Kyle Vanausdoll and Zachary Hunter.
He is survived by: his mother Joan Vanausdoll (Arter) of Jerseyville; his wife Sheri Vanausdoll of Jerseyville; his children, Jason Vanausdoll of Jerseyville, Leigh Ann Vanausdoll (Kevin Margeson) of Springfield and Craig (Stephanie Vanausdoll) of Jerseyville; his grandchildren, Jayley Vanausdoll, Aria Margeson, Maddie, Mason and Marlee Vanausdoll; his brothers, Mike (Kim Vanausdoll), Marty (Shelley Vanausdoll) and Mark (Bev Vanausdoll); and his sister-in-law Vicki Kiefer (Bill).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home (1308 IL-109, Jerseyville, IL 62052). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (506 S State St, Jerseyville, IL 62052). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the St. Francis Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Jerseyville Sons of the American Legion.
