He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban Ridings and Beatrice Ridings (Travis); his wife Maxine Lea Sugg; and his siblings, Ruthie, Tuny, Lila, Roy and Jim.
He is survived by: his children, William K. Ridings (Marilyn) of California and Dena Sauerwein of Jerseyville, IL; his grandchildren, Janie Kruep (Danny) of O'Fallon, IL, Keith Sauerwein (Heather) of St. Charles, MO, Blair Ridings of California and Josh Ridings of California; and his great grandchildren, Emmett, Gideon Sauerwein, Brayden and Owen Kruep.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Nebo Primitive Baptist Church, Mt. Nebo Ave., Greenville, IL 62446. The family asks that donations be made in lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts.
