It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty (Blasa) Albrecht of Jerseyville, Illinois, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Wilber Blasa; her husband Adolph Albrecht; her sons, Mike Blasa and Terry Blasa; and her parent Elizabeth Closser.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Blasa (Tina) of Fulton, Scott Blasa of Jerseyville, Lance Blasa of Jerseyville and Kyle Blasa (Julie Steinacher) of Kane; her brother Sam Closser of Iowa; and her brother-in-law Don Edwards of Greenfield. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
For those desiring, memorials may be given to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
