He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Allen and Deborah A. Klopfer (Sloan); his brother Matthew Klopfer; and his grandparents, Julius "Bud", Marie Klopfer, William and Carole Sloan.
He is survived by: his children, Emma Kay Klopfer of Alton, Benjamin Klopfer (J'Karra Proctor) of Alton, Claire Klopfer of Foley and Ezra Klopfer of Foley; his grandson Malakai; his sister Michelle; his brother-in-law Andy Bechtold of Godfrey; his brother Patrick Klopfer (Michaela Taylor); his mother-in-law Marsha Knoll of Jerseyville; his nephews, Andrew, Robert, Matthew and Gabriel; and his niece Anna.
Memorials may be given to his family to assist with the unexpected expenses.
