It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ellen Darr of Jerseyville, Illinois, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Barbara leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Tingley and Bernice Tingley (Owens). She is survived by: her husband Greg Darr (Peter) of Jerseyville; her children, Katie Towell of Fieldon and Nick Darr (Gina) of Sachse, Texas; and her grandchildren, Gregory, Danny, Lauren Towell, Alannha and Brycen Darr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Jersey Community Hospital Foundation, in care of Crawford Funeral Home, 1308 State Highway 109, Jerseyville, IL 62052, who has been entrusted with arrangements.
