He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Thomas and Violet Mae Johnson Hanning; his wife Linda Scoggins Hanning; and his siblings, Lester, James Richard Hanning, Wilda Hamilton, Loverna McNerney and Laura Dady.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian Hanning of California, Scott Hanning of California and Randy Hite of California; his stepchildren, Renee Watts of Illinois and Jason Rodgers of Illinois; and his sisters, Marlene Kittle (Bill) of Glouster and Monna Cantrel of Zanesville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
