Though Blaize may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Sheila English; and his great-grandparent Mavis Ohm-Flick. He is survived by: his parents, Blake E. Switzer (Hayle Lookebill) of Terre Haute and Michaela Flick (Zak Hamilton) of Janesville; his grandparents, Dave Switzer (Bonnie) of Terre Haute, Jayson Flick (Stacy) of Paris and Linda Craig (Derek Cline) of Kansas, Illinois; his great-grandparent Andrew Flick of Loxa, Illinois; and his siblings, Carson Switzer of Terre Haute, Keeghan Bruce of Terre Haute, Caroline Switzer of Terre Haute and Kenadee Bruce of Terre Haute. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Family Worship Center of Mattoon (5475 Lerna Rd, Mattoon, IL 61938).
