She was predeceased by : her parents, Gale D. Oyler and Anna M. Oyler (Koke); and her brother Allen Oyler. She is survived by : her husband Glenn J. Schlimpert of Jacob; her children, Alea Schlimpert of St. Louis, MO., Amy Schlimpert of St. Louis, MO. and Daniel; her daughter-in-law Jaclyn Schlimpert of St. Johns, FL.; her granddaughters, Olivia and Alanna Schlimpert of St. John's, FL.; her siblings, Janet Ward of Leduc, Gayla Oyler of Auburn, IL. and Walter; and her sisters-in-law, Fay Oyler of Grand Tower, IL. and Karlene Abell (Warren) of Marine St. She is also survived by many niece, nephews, and dear friends.
Due to the pandemic, a burial at Walker Hill Cemetery in Grand Tower, IL and a gathering will be announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Southern Illinois District Lutheran Women's Missionary League. While Linda's hope was to be an organ donor herself, she expressed a wish of non-monetary gifts of blood donation or registering as an organ donor in her honor.
