She was predeceased by: her parent Edward C. Strassel; her siblings, Emelda B. Maggio, Geraldine S. Meyer, Herman Burmaster and Leslie "Pete" Strassel; and her nieces, Lynn Burmaster and Marlene Meyer Aysien.
She is survived by: her sister Audrey M. Strassel; her parent Mary Enola Heitmeier Strassel; and her brother David Strassel, Sr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great grand nieces.
