Walter left this world on January 9, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd D. Mason and Louise Rentschler Mason; and his siblings, Lucretia Cloyes and Howard Mason. He is survived by: his spouse Bernidean Zulauf; his son Tim Mason (Christy) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Tyler Mason (Kayla), Nicholas Mason (Alexandria) and Ashley Keehner (Branson); his great grandchildren, Kyler, Felicity Mason, Essie and Jolie Keehner; and his siblings, Donald Mason (Susan) of Colona and Melba Langhans (Carl) of Emerson, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (201 W Frederick St, Arenzville, IL 62611).
