He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lindell and Adah Goodenough Lindell; his former wife Carolyn Bunting; his brothers, Charles Lindell and Francis Lindell; his daughter Sandra Harms; and his son-in-law Lonnie Harms.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Hoelscher; his children, Larry Lindell (Gayle) of Adel, IA, Linda Brown (Eric) of Pleasant Hill, IA, Vicki Robertson (Mark) of Keosauqua, IA, Michael Lindell (Tricia) of Wichita, KS and Garrett Lindell (Jodi) of Aledo; and his sister Ruth Winterscheidt of Harrisonville, MO.. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one soon to be a great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Christian Church (2106 S Main St, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the First Christian Church Building Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
