It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas W. Holmes (Jacksonville, Illinois), who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lou Holmes (Fortado). He is survived by: his daughters, Diana Tone (Yancey) of Smyrna, TN, Dixie Freehill (Adam) of Springfield and Cathy Hansell (Brian) of Chapin; his grandsons, Nick Tone (Ashley) of Tennessee and Andrew Tone of Tennessee; his daughters, Allison Ruthe (Nolan) of Minnesota, Hannah Freehill of Tennessee, Cassidy Freehill of Springfield, Ryker Hansell of Chapin and Amelia Hansell of Chapin; and his father Thomas Marshall Holmes (Mildred) of Jacksonville.
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
