He is survived by: his children, George Wessel (Amelia Csatari) of Wildwood, MO, David Wessel (Pam) of Newburgh, IN and Janice Rothering (Tony) of Auburn; and his grandchildren, Lydia, Chloe Wahle (Matt), Catherine, Rosa, Emma, Zach and Maggie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Mass stipends or to the Jacksonville Food Pantry.
