He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Morthole and Dorothy L. Morthole (Patterson); and his brother Mark Morthole. He is survived by: his wife Martha "Marty" Pate; his children, Tiffany S. McDannald of Sunrise Beach, MO, Tarah S. Richardson (Chris) of Jacksonville, Jamey Wagstaff of Murrayville and Darcy Neal (Mike) of Murrayville; his grandchildren, Chloe McDannald, Cole McDannald, Kenady Richardson, Tyson Richardson, Tanner Jay Richardson, Molly Wagstaff, Tinley Wagstaff, Neal of Nevada and Raven Neal; his great grandchild Coy Wagstaff; his sister Dixie Holtgrewe (Mike) of Jacksonville; and also Susan A. McHatton.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home (1100 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church (951 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650).
