It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steve Poole (Jacksonville, Illinois), who passed away on June 11, 2019, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Poole and Mildred "Millie" Landreth Poole; his brothers, James A. Poole and Robert E. Poole; and his nephew Jeremy Christian Wiseman.

He is survived by: his sister Sue Wiseman (Leon) of Maroa; his niece Heather Lyon (Shaun) of Maroa; his nephew Darrin Wiseman (Jessica) of Pleasant View, TN; his great-nieces, Hanna Lyon and Ella Wiseman; and his great-nephew Collin Wiseman. He is also survived by numerous cousins, fraternity brothers and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Steve would be deeply honored if you chose to remember his life with a donation to the Jacksonville Public Schools Foundation to benefit the JHS Bowl renovation or the Concordia Village Scholarship Fund.
