Russell L. Leopold Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Russell L. Leopold of Jacksonville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2024 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Russell L. Leopold to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Leopold and Gertrude Leopold (Cary); and his wife Janice E. Koch. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Leopold (Gail) and Scott Leopold (Sherri); his grandchildren, Caitlin, Jordan (Devin), Justin (Kaitlin), Joshua (Jessica) and Elizabeth (Ian); his great grandchildren, Emma, Ivy, Russell and Leon; and his sister-in-law Lois Leopold.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Fred C. Olson Chapel (1001 2nd Ave, Rockford, IL 61104). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
