With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Prudence Ballard of Jacksonville, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward V. Moy and Frances Moy (Shelton); her husband Daniel R. Ballard; and her brother Dan Moy. She is survived by: her children, Rocky Ballard (Sandy) of Jacksonville and Robyn Halsey (Mike) of Frederick, CO; her grandchildren, Brady Ballard (Gina) of Corpus Christi, TX, Brianne Ballard (David Hoots) of Auburn, Brett Ballard of Portland, OR, Danielle Halsey-Birch (Nick) of Indianapolis, IN and Sean Halsey (Cynthia) of Berthoud, CO; and her great grandchildren, Dashiell Ballard and Hannah Ballard.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home (1100 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Diamond Grove Cemetery (1601 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650).
