She was predeceased by: her parent Vina Knapp; her husband Harold Carriger; her siblings, Mary Pearl Morris, Charles Knapp, William Knapp, Gene Knapp, Tom Knapp, Jim Knapp and Margaret Witherbee; and her great grandchild David Carriger.

She is survived by: her children, Rita Gulley (Jerry) of Traverse City, MI, William Carriger of Poland, NY, Kevin of Jacksonville and Jay Carriger (Amy) of Jacksonville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of her great granddaughter, Lynnleigh.
