With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Lashmet of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Beardstown, Illinois, who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Huppe and Nina Huppe. She is survived by: her husband Ron of Jacksonville; her son Craig Lashmet (Rita) of Wilmette, IL; her grandchildren, Chris Lashmet (Annie), Lauren Lashmet and Katie Lashmet; her great grandchildren, Debra Lashmet Carlson of Chicago, IL and Rita Rose Lashmet; her siblings, Bonita Becker (Carl) of Alexander, IL, Evelyn Thompson (David) of Carrollton, IL and Henry Huppe (Carole) of Arenzville, IL.; and also, Christina Carlson, Claire Carlson and John Carlson.
The family requests in lieu of gifts or flowers to consider donations to Salem Lutheran Church, in Jacksonville or Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice.
