It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Elaine Zimmer of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Judith Elaine is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Judith Elaine's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Schramm and Leah Schramm (Dalton); her spouse Marlin L. Zimmer; her sister Patricia Grant; and her great-nephew Michael Barbare.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Elizabeth Janssen (Don) of Flat Rock, AL; her grandson John Gerrit Janssen of Hoover, AL; and her sister-in-law Elaine Brickey (John) of Murrayville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
